POLISH PROTOCOL · STEP 03

The computer club polished to a mirror finish

LAN HARBOR PC CLUB is a 24-station PC gaming club built around one idea: a station you would sit at even in white gloves. Every seat is wiped, re-skinned and reset before you touch it. Book an hour, an evening or the whole night — the shine is already included.

THE FLOOR · STEP 01

Three ways to sit at the club

The club floor splits into three zones, all on the same hourly clock. Pick the row that fits your session — a quick solo hour, a top-spec seat, or a desk built for two. Whatever you pick, it arrives cleaned and reset.

Mirror rows

Sixteen open stations in two clean rows — the everyday heart of the club. Each seat runs a 240Hz screen, a wiped mechanical keyboard and a fresh mouse skin. Wide aisles, no cable spaghetti, nothing sticky on the desk. This is where most guests book their hour.

Duo desks

Four twin desks for two players side by side, sharing one clean surface with a splitter for both headsets. Perfect for co-op nights and coaching an hour with a friend. Both seats reset together, so you both start on a spotless station.

POLISH PROTOCOL · STEP 03

Six minutes, every seat, every guest

Cleanliness here is a product, not a promise. Between one guest and the next, a station gets a fixed six-minute reset — wiped down, re-skinned and re-charged. It runs on a public checklist and a visible timer, so you can watch your seat being prepared. No shortcuts on a busy night.

  1. Wipe the surface

Desk, monitor edge and chair arms get a full wipe with a fresh cloth.

  2. Swap the skins

Mouse film and keyboard wrist rest come off and go on new.

  3. Refresh the headset

Ear cushions are replaced and the band is wiped down.

  4. Recharge peripherals

Wireless mouse and pad go back to a full charge for the next hour.

  5. Clear the cables

Every cord is tucked and dressed so the desk reads clean and flat.

  6. Final mirror check

A quick glance in the screen reflection — no dust, no smudge, ready.

THE SHOP FLOOR · STEP 05

The hardware — and yes, we polish that too

Behind the clean rows sits real gear kept in real shape. Cards are dusted on a schedule, fans are cleared, and chairs are wiped down like everything else. Fast is the baseline; spotless is the standard.

Graphics

Current-gen cards tuned for high-frame play, dusted and heat-checked every week so frame times stay flat late into a night.

240Hz screens

Every station runs a 240Hz panel, calibrated and wiped edge to edge so motion stays sharp and the glass stays clear.

Chairs

Supportive seats with wipe-clean surfaces and fresh contact points, reset between guests along with the desk.

Audio

Closed headsets with swappable ear cushions, a clean band and a splitter on every duo desk for two clear feeds.

THE CLOCK · STEP 02

Rates by the clock

One clean floor, three ways to book time. The reset protocol is included in every rate — there is no cleaning fee, no surcharge, no add-on for a fresh seat. You pay for time on a station, and the shine comes with it.

The Hour

Single station · daytime

  • One seat on any mirror row
  • 240Hz screen, clean peripherals
  • Six-minute reset before you sit
  • Walk-in or book ahead

The Night

Long haul · through to morning

  • Overnight seat, lights low
  • 240Hz screen all night
  • Quiet corner on request
  • Reset done before the night starts

Prices are set per session at the desk. The cleaning protocol is part of every rate — never a separate charge.

THE SHINE LOG · STEP 04

Notes from the cloth

A short, honest log the floor team keeps. Small wins, kept in plain sight — because if the cleaning is the product, it deserves a record.

  1. 01

    The 10,000th wipe

We stopped counting resets for a while, then started again for fun. This spring the tally rolled past ten thousand wiped-and-reset stations since we opened the doors. That is ten thousand seats handed over spotless — one cloth, one timer, one guest at a time. The team marked it with fresh skins on every desk.

  2. 02

    New skins across the floor

Every mouse film and keyboard wrist rest on the floor was swapped in a single quiet Monday. It is a small thing that guests feel in the first second — a device that reads new under the hand. We keep a stock behind the desk so a worn skin never waits for a re-order.

  3. 03

    The white-glove test

A regular joked that we would never pass a white-glove inspection, then brought actual white gloves. She ran a finger along a monitor edge, a keyboard tray and a chair arm. No dust, no smudge, no argument. We were quietly, unreasonably proud of that clean glove for a full week.

THE REGULARS · STEP 07

The people who keep the seats warm

A club is its regulars. These are the players you will see most nights on the mirror rows — the ones who booked an hour, stayed for three, and now have a favourite seat. We keep it clean for them, and they keep the place alive.

“I came in for one hour on a slow Tuesday and I have basically not left since. Same corner, same clean desk, no fuss — I just book, sit and play.”

Mira — 200+ evenings on the mirror rows

“What sold me was sitting down and finding nothing sticky, nothing dusty, a screen you can actually see through. Small thing. It is the whole reason I keep coming back.”

Devon — duo-desk co-op regular

“The night crew know my order — quiet corner, low lights, headset cushions swapped. I climb the points board a little every week. That is enough of a reward for me.”

Sena — night-rate regular

HOUSE RULES · STEP 08

The club, at a glance

Five plain rules and a couple of standing perks — nothing buried in fine print. Read them once and you know exactly how the floor runs. If anything is unclear, the desk will happily walk you through it.

SPOTLESS

Every seat resets before you sit

No station is handed over without its six-minute reset. If you ever sit at a desk that does not feel clean, tell the desk and we will re-run the protocol on the spot — no questions, no charge. Clean is the baseline you paid for.

Book or walk in

Hold a spot ahead for evenings and the Steel corner, or take the next open mirror-row seat on the day.

Food off the desks

Drinks with lids are welcome at your seat; snacks live at the lounge tables so the stations stay flat and clean.

Bring your own gear

Personal keyboard, mouse or headset? Plug it in — and we will wipe it down on request before you start.

Keep it friendly

Rank and rivalry stay on the leaderboard. Ratings run on points and time here — that's the whole scoreboard.

Perks for regulars

Book often and the floor team learns your seat, your lighting and your headset preference — held ready without asking. Regulars also get first call on the Steel corner and the quiet night bench when the club fills.

THE SHINE NUMBERS · STEP 09

Kept clean, counted honestly

If cleanliness is the product, it deserves a scoreboard. A few numbers from the floor — the ones we actually track, not the ones that sound good on a poster.

0

0

The reset count keeps climbing every hour we are open — which is all of them, all week.

SPOTLESS FAQ

The questions guests actually ask

Is the six-minute reset real, or a slogan?

It is real and it is timed. Every station gets a fixed six-minute window between guests, run off a public checklist you can watch. On a packed night the timer holds — we would rather you wait a few minutes for a clean seat than sit at a rushed one. The reset is the reason the club exists, so we do not skip it.

Will you clean my own device if I bring one?

Yes, on request and with your say-so. If you bring a personal keyboard, mouse or headset, ask at the desk and we will give it the same wipe-and-skin treatment we give our own gear. We only clean what you hand us and only in the way you are comfortable with — your device, your call.

What if I react to cleaning products?

The full list of what we use is posted at the desk and we will read it out any time. If something on that list does not suit you, tell us and we will switch to a plain, fragrance-free wipe for your seat. Open ingredients are part of the protocol — nothing about the clean is a secret.

How does booking work?

Use the form near the bottom of this page to hold a spot, or walk in and take the next open seat. Booking ahead is best for evenings and the Steel corner, which fill first. Give us your date, your zone and how long you want, and we will have a reset station waiting under your name.

Can I play through the night?

Yes — the club runs around the clock and the Night rate holds a seat straight through to morning. We drop the lights, keep a quiet corner free on request, and reset your station before the night begins so you settle in once and stay. The floor team is on site the whole time.
